The JANUS collaborative project is funded by the European Union
CTI and Orelis Environnement - ALSYS Group have received funding from the EUROPEAN UNION as part of the JANUS collaborative project.
The JANUS collaborative project is designed to improve the safety and environmental acceptability of nuclear reactors in operation. It brings together a consortium of 3 SMEs: CTI - ORELIS Environnement and NEXSON, a CNRS laboratory: l'institut Européen des Membranes and the industrial group: GENERAL ELECTRIC (end user of the products developed). The JANUS project applies to all water reactor and fuel plant technologies, through the development of a product offering “Retention system for iodine and noble gases” and associated maintenance services.
In this project, ALSYS is contributing its expertise in membrane processes and the design of modules for the purification of radioactive gases.
